TVBSf澄清：攝影師翻倒垃圾桶，非暴動

學生反服貿運動持續發燒，網路上陸續瘋傳不少學生與警察對峙的衝突影片與照片，其中一張「TVBS攝影師翻倒垃圾桶製造暴動假象」的照片，也引發熱烈討論。但對此TVBS也火速發出聲明澄清：「實為工作人員拉線時不小心踢倒垃圾桶後扶正時所攝，竟遭惡意扭曲造謠流傳，對現場敬業認真的TVBS新聞部同仁極不公平。TVBS也秉持專業報導新聞，對誣指本公司製作假新聞以及惡意轉貼散佈者，將追究法律責任。」
