美眾院通過強化對台關係法案

美國聯邦眾議院今天無異議通過「2014年確認台灣關係法與軍艦移轉法案」，再度確認台灣關係法對美台關係與區域安全的重要性。

眾院院會於美東時間7日下午在民主共和兩黨共識下，無異議通過眾院3470號「2014年確認台灣關係法與軍艦移轉法案」，在台灣關係法生效35週年之際，再度確認法案重要性，及歐巴馬政府應對台出售派里級巡防艦。

眾院外交委員會主席羅艾斯（Ed Royce）、台灣連線共同主席眾議員康納利與眾議員（Gerry Connolly）霍爾丁等，均發言支持強化美台關係和台灣防衛能力的重要性。
