〔自由時報記者吳志偉／台北報導〕賴薇如日前在網路，上傳一張紐約夜店消費約台幣20萬的信用卡帳單，上頭竟有潘瑋柏的英文名字，因此傳出兩人熱戀ing，昨潘瑋柏活動上否認，堅稱自己仍是單身。

潘瑋柏擔任2014 MTV「歐洲音樂大獎」引言人，昨為活動揭開序幕，談到與賴薇如的緋聞，他苦笑：「這真是個烏龍事件，我認識薇如很多年，不太可能會變男女朋友，整件事情只有大手筆花錢是真的，但是我先刷卡，大家後來平分。」

今年他與張惠妹、五月天、蘇打綠、田馥甄以台灣區代表，角逐「全球人氣歌手」獎項，票選最高者將與亞洲地區其他歌手一較高下，他已計劃若有機會前進歐洲舞台，要帶蓮霧跟魯肉飯上台。
