英飛凌將砸重金買國際整流器

（中央社台北2014年8月21日電）彭博報導，德國最大晶片製造商英飛凌科技公司同意以約現金30億美元收購國際整流器公司，新增至電源管理技術事業。

英飛凌（Infineon Technologies AG DE-IFX）昨天表示，將支付每股40美元收購國際整流器（International Rectifier Corp. US-IRF），雙方董事會都批准此交易。這比交易宣布前國際整流器的收盤價高51%。根據彭博彙整的數據，這是英飛凌史上最大規模收購案。

執行長普羅斯（Reinhard Ploss）從2012年掌舵以來就在尋求收購的機會，他押注汽車電子配件及管理行動裝置電池電量等晶片需求會攀高。這樁交易也讓英飛凌離矽谷科技中心更近。

普羅斯在電話會議中表示：「這對我們在美國的地位，及接近加州高度革新的區域非常重要。國際整流器幫我們做到了。」（譯者：中央社陳昱婷）
