一車變換車道不慎　釀後方5起14車事故

國道中山高北上218公里處，即原員林收費站附近，一台原本行駛中線的自小客車疑似變換車道不慎，擦撞到外側車道的大貨車，導致大貨車與自小客車雙雙失控、翻覆。不過這起突來的事故，導致後方車輛反應不及，又接連引發另外4起事故，導致一共14輛車的事故，幸好都沒有人員傷亡。

國道3隊交通組長黃修哲表示，這起事故發生在早上9點40分左右，一共造成2個車道封閉，雖然警方在半小時內已經處理完畢，不過因為今天是連續假期的第一天，原本車流量就多，加上這起事故，讓北上車道一直回堵到西螺路段，回堵約10公里。 （詹智淵╱彰化報導）
