維護波羅的海安全　北約部署5軍艦

北大西洋公約組織22日表示，五艘北約軍艦當天從德國基爾港啟程奔赴波羅的海地區，以加強該地區的軍事部署，並防範突發事件。

當天從德國基爾港出發的五艘北約軍艦分別來自挪威、荷蘭、比利時和愛沙尼亞，其中四艘軍艦是掃雷艦，一艘軍艦是補給船。歐洲盟軍最高司令菲利普布里德洛夫指出，北約軍艦的存在將有助維護該地區的海上安全。

菲利普布里德洛夫認為，在烏克蘭局勢日趨緊張的階段，北約有理由派遣軍艦前往波羅的海地區。這是北約加強東歐地區空中、海洋和陸地全方位軍事部署計劃的一部分。他強調北約的目的絕不是要讓緊張升級，而是向外界展示北約盟友之間的團結，加強對突發事件的應急反應。

根據北約的計劃，五艘北約軍艦將造訪波羅的海地區的數個港口，並於五月參加由拉脫維亞主辦的年度掃雷行動。屆時，北約軍艦將與其他軍艦一起在波羅的海地區搜尋一戰、二戰遺留的魚雷、炸彈。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
