位在花蓮縣秀林鄉銅門村的慕谷慕魚，地屬木瓜溪上游支流清水溪，源自能高山的清水溪，由大理石組成的河床為其特色，溪水穿越河床呈翠綠色，形成翡翠谷的原始山林美景，長久以來有「小天祥」的美稱。

二○○五年配合花蓮縣政府，規畫「慕谷慕魚生態廊道區」。廊道全長兩公里，沿途有翡翠谷、龍澗電廠、能高越嶺道以及清水溪峽谷等幾個知名景點，近年來還被旅遊業封以「台灣的九寨溝」，聲名大噪，成為遊客到花蓮縣旅遊的重要據點。
