手機旺 友達：鎖定低溫多晶矽

本報訊

友達光電今天在股東會表示，因應中小尺寸產品，如手機等對低耗電、高畫質表現、更大螢幕的要求，手機應用對低溫多晶矽（LTPS）面板的需求持續上升。

友達指出，觀察到諸多面板廠商計畫擴充LTPS面板產能，但新建置產線在製造過程中，技術能力、生產良率均為挑戰，產出是否能如預期仍為變數。

原則上，對中小尺寸面板，尤其是智慧型手機面板而言，高、中、低階產品技術差異的程度很大。因此競爭關鍵並非產能，技術能力能達到客戶要求才是重點。

友達登陸設面板廠，原本規劃建8.5代線，生產電視面板，但中國大陸電視市場趨於飽和，手機市場正在成長，因此今年初宣布變更計畫；將8.5代線改為新建6代線，並改採低溫多晶矽技術，鎖定智慧手機面板。(中央社)
