北市工務局：會勘查因

東湖櫻花步道櫻花大量死亡，民眾質疑與內溝溪整治工程有關 。台北市工務局水利處處長黃治峰表示，內溝溪整治工程進行過程，全程與當地民眾協調溝通後才進行，水利處將與當地民眾會勘，如確定櫻花林致死原因與施工有關，會把櫻花種回去，有損失多少，我們就補植多少。

黃治峰表示，內溝溪整治工程主要內容之一，是內溝溪兩側採用砌石護坡，目的是防止溪水暴漲氾濫，保護原有生態，部分步道周邊還將設涼亭，供民眾休息賞景。

黃治峰表示，工務局施工都與當地里長、里民密切聯繫，還有民眾配合監工，如果當地居民認為櫻花林死亡與施工不當或施工不慎有關，工務局會同當地民眾會勘後，只要確認責任屬工務局，損害多少就補植多少。
