老式三合院房間想DIY動手改造

想請問各位大大由於我家是老式建築物三合院
，最近想DIY房間，發現牆壁有剝落現象牆壁裡是類似粗糙米殼(類似的）跟其他東西混合所塗抹上去的，

由於房子非常老，所以都剝落，小弟之前有用補土抹上去之後過沒幾天不知道是不是因為房間潮濕又熱的關係所以又裂開

想請問有什麼方式可以把牆壁搞好不會剝落可以像一般水泥牆，想自己刷油漆

另外房間有另一面牆是木板隔間，想問有什麼方法可以變比較美化不要有溝槽因為是自己要動力做

所以麻煩各位大大幫我解答後可以告知我材料要到哪邊買
