英國設計工作室Studio Swine，推出一個極有意義的設計企劃「Can City」，目標是將廢鋁罐回收，再製成一張張獨一無二的銀色椅子。首先，他們在巴西聖保羅街頭垃圾桶找出廢鋁罐。再和小吃攤索取他們不要的廢油為燃料。然後以簡易的行動熔爐設備，在街頭生產出這些椅子。

然而，最妙的是他們灌模的模具、靈感，也是就地取材。在木盒中放入沙土，並找來棕櫚葉、磚頭等隨手可得的材料，於土上壓出紋路，再將熔化的鋁液倒入，等待冷卻、成型，就連製作手法都非常樸實。這些手作感十足的椅子，充滿不造作的美感，真是垃圾變黃金。（何梅慈／綜合報導）
