英總檢察長拒絕公開查理信件違法

英國上訴法院12日裁決，英國總檢察長葛里夫阻撓公開英國王儲查理王子寫給政府部長的書信是違法行為。

葛里夫拒絕讓媒體獲得這些信件，認為媒體獲知書信內容，可能在查理王子登基為王時，對他造成「嚴重傷害」，指控查理政治立場不中立。

上訴法院告訴葛里夫可再向最高法院上訴，且須支付提告的英國衛報的訴訟費用。衛報根據資訊自由法尋求過目查理王子書信已九年。
