氣候變遷 哥倫比亞恐被美國米淹沒

從前在哥倫比亞北部平原，熱帶氣候使稻農1年非二穫即三穫。

但氣候變遷搞得天下大亂。不到10年，當地平均最低溫上升3℃，平均相對濕度陡升85％，雨量愈來愈極端，不是苦旱，就是洪水，5年來，每公頃稻米產量從6公噸降到5公噸。

產量降低攸關全國，哥國有45萬公頃稻田，逾200個城鎮和村落以種稻為經濟命脈。

稻產降低的時間也不對。哥國是稻米淨輸入國，而依與美國貿易協定，稻米進口關稅5年後取消，也就是說，哥國可能被美國米淹沒，美國米便宜，因生產成本約只有哥國一半。

國際農業研究顧問團2年前以最先進軟體，大規模分析哥國的作物資料提出建議，其中之一是每年減為一穫，避免土地過勞。

另一項建議是，避免上半年種作。上半年當地高溫，加上單一農耕，1種傷害稻田的細菌會肆虐。
