民進黨：香港、北京應回應占中公投民意

民進黨中國事務部主任趙天麟今天表示，香港「占中」公投持續進行，會繼續吸引更多民眾的參與。民進黨高度關注香港的處境，是因為台灣付出了極大的代價才擁有民主，更因為民主、人權、自由是不分國界的普世價值，因此，民進黨支持並聲援香港人民對民主化的追求，也呼籲香港政府以及北京應尊重「占中公投」所彰顯的民意，並回應香港民眾對於落實真普選的訴求。

他也說，這是香港人民的勝利，無論最終公投結果為何，香港民眾透過和平、理性的方式表達主張，其結果應該要被尊重。
