失事通報延誤　南韓總統府39分鐘後才知

南韓《中央日報》報導，歲月號客輪失事後的關鍵救援時刻，相關當局通報遲緩，導致南韓政府應對混亂。據傳事故發生39分鐘後，南韓安全行政部中央安全指揮室才以文字形式，上報總統府青瓦台。
 
還原當時情況，16日上午8點52分，歲月號首次通報失事，9時17分稱「船傾斜了50度以上，動彈不了」，但安全行政部下屬指揮室遲至9時25分才用電話通報上級，6分鐘後以文字形式向青瓦台報告。 （林奐成╱綜合外電報導）
