明新科大院長收賄130萬　二審改判有罪

私立明新科技大學工學院長翁文爐，被控於2005年起利用擔任經濟部工業局及南部科學工業園區審查委員的機會，為廠商護航甚至代筆撰寫計畫書，藉此共收賄130萬元，桃園法院一審判他無罪，但高等法院審理後，認定翁文爐收賄，今天逆轉改判翁7年10月徒刑。
 
高院認定，雙慶化工等廠商交給翁文爐的「顧問費」，實際上就是賄賂，翁文爐既然受政府委託擔任審查委員，應該秉持專業，超然中立審查案件，卻沒有迴避利益，因此改判他有罪。此案可上訴。(丁牧群／台北報導)
