新竹市1名張姓女子指稱，自幼稚園至國中遭表哥性侵，隱忍多年，趁他的大喜之日要公開揭發醜聞；但因大部分犯罪事證都已過法定的10年追訴時效，依法只能不起訴結案。

不起訴處分書指出，2006年5、6月間，表哥利用外婆過世回家奔喪之便，尾隨張女至3樓房間內，推倒她在床上，企圖拉起上衣伸手撫摸，因強力拉住衣服且奮力推開才逃離魔掌。今日出版的《自由時報》報導，檢察官傳訊張女哥哥及姊姊，婚禮當天，陳男當下反應很慌張，後來又點頭承認有做過這樣的事情，坦承性侵。但因據刑法規定，強制性交罪追訴時效僅10年，該部分已過追訴時效，因此不起訴，告不成表哥性侵。（陳亮諭／綜合報導）

聯合國秘書長潘基文(Ban Ki-moon)16日警告，南蘇丹境內有超過100萬人面臨饑荒的危險。
潘基文表示，當前南蘇丹境內有數以百萬計的民眾挨餓，而在那些因為衝突而流離失所的成千上萬群眾中，也出現了極高比例的營養不良情形，特別是婦女和兒童。
他指出，如果不立即採取行動，幾個月裡就將會有多達100萬人面臨饑荒。
潘基文同時也呼籲南蘇丹發生衝突的相關各方停止戰鬥，尋求解決衝突的政治方案。他說，需要資源以持續提供挽救生命的援助和生活上的支持。
潘基文是在歡迎歐洲聯盟主管人道救援事務執行委員喬治艾娃(Kristalina Georgieva)到訪時，發表了上述談話。
南蘇丹於去年12月15日爆發武裝衝突後，已有數以千計的人們喪命，還有約100萬人無家可歸。

交通部長葉匡時今天到台東視察富岡漁港以及知本溫泉，由於縣府正進行富岡港旅運品質提昇工作，並以7億完成改建，預計最快後年底完成，但受關注的則是即將通車的普悠瑪號，由於暑假即將來到，屆時將會有大批遊客透過鐵路及航運前往台東及綠島，而普悠瑪號也將在明天試車前往台東車站，但葉匡時則表示，「6月鐵路電氣化後太魯閣號等電車應該都可通車」，但由於普悠瑪號是傾斜式列車，仍需由第3方實際試車才知道可否在軌道上安全通行，強調「不是我說可以就能通車。」（劉人瑋／台東報導）
