分手3周 男走上鐵軌被駕火車女友撞死

英國蘇格蘭36歲男子韋爾斯（Gary Wells）疑似因與拍拖多年的女友麥克唐納（Diane MacDonald）分手，無法承受痛苦，故意走上路軌，被女友駕駛的火車撞死。

18日上午，麥克唐納駕駛火車經過威廉堡附近時，韋爾斯突然走入路軌，故意被火車撞倒，當場死亡。

麥克唐納撞死男友後大受打擊，情緒極度激動。死者一名朋友表示，韋爾斯與麥克唐納在一起有8年之久，一直如膠似漆，但3星期前兩人分手，他說，「韋爾斯是善良的人，不明白他為何會做出這種事。」

麥克唐納是蘇格蘭西高地鐵路（West Highland Line）的第一位女火車司機。她事後感到十分苦惱、難過。
