莫拉克5周年 「希望之樹」蔓延

5年前莫拉克風災奪走575條人命，高雄市長陳菊昨天說，這個痛與傷，讓大家很難過，但災區已重現生機，市府將結合當地產業、觀光及社區等資源，發展重建區特有的人文景觀。

為表達對莫拉克風災罹難者無盡的思念，高雄市政府將於8月2日到9日舉辦莫拉克5周年系列活動，包括在甲仙區小林村植樹1公頃，六龜區也有植希望之樹活動，還有小林平埔族群文化館展示活動、重建區青年返鄉座談會和社區攝影展回顧重建歷程等。

陳菊昨天在5周年前夕記者會說，莫拉克重建工作總計在高雄市投入165億2756萬餘元，執行895件工程、完成14座大型橋梁，並與民間慈善團體合作完成9所學校校園重建，以及興建1269間永久屋，安置近4000餘人。

莫拉克重建委員會與民政局昨天也安排災區居民表演竹仔鼓，其中一名獨臂表演人特別引人矚目，藉以象徵礫堆崛起的「巴楠花」，經歷惡境考驗後，仍隨風搖曳在大地的精神。
