感傷…北市動物園猩猩黑皮不敵病魔過世

動物園金剛猩猩「黑皮」爺爺昨天下午病逝，保育員相當不捨。

台北市立動物園金剛猩猩「黑皮」爺爺，因慢性腎衰竭生命力漸失，雖有保育員及獸醫師的照顧，仍在昨天下午4時38分過世。

動物園表示，隨著黑皮爺爺的病情嚴重，牠開始不吃不喝，這幾天精神也越來越差。為避免黑皮爺爺同一個姿勢躺太久，保育員及獸醫師得定時幫牠翻身，但黑皮爺爺只會發出微弱的聲音或動動手指頭，連反抗的力氣都沒有，顯示生命力已逐漸喪失。黑皮陪伴許多人成長，是動物園重要的成員，享壽49歲，希望牠一路好走。
