《國際產業》電子書價格操縱案，蘋果達成庭外和解

【時報-記者柯婉琇綜合外電報導】蘋果與美國州政府及其他投訴者，周一就操縱電子書價格的集體訴訟達成庭外和解，逃過將面臨逾8億美元索賠要求的審判程序。

美國曼哈頓地方法院法官Denise Cote已下令原告與被告雙方在30日內提出和解相關文件，以取得法院批准。和解的條件還需法院通過，目前尚未揭曉。

美國司法部在2012年4月控告蘋果與五大出版商串謀提高電子書價格，自此，美國有33個州與屬地分別代表其消費者，對蘋果提起操縱電子書價格的訴訟，其他州與美國屬地的個人消費者則提起集體訴訟。這些指控共要求8.4億美元的損害賠償，而確切的損害金額原本將於7月4日由法院審理定奪。
