不重蹈覆轍！鄧肯三節22+12

2：0領先被追平，馬刺看似又重蹈2012年西區決賽的覆轍，關鍵的第5場，鄧肯（Tim Duncan）三節獻22分12籃板說「不」！馬刺最終以117：89大勝雷霆，3：2率先聽牌。

連輸兩個客場再次證明，馬刺跟雷霆拼運動能力無異自尋死路，只能打得更聰明，效率更高，鄧肯出戰29分鐘得22分12籃板，為全隊做出了表率。

鄧肯的堅決進攻給雷霆內線造成極大的殺傷。第二節帕金斯（Kendrick Perkins）已經掛在他身上，結果還是神奇命中完成2+1。上半場他在雷霆內線翻江倒海，砍下14分9籃板1助攻和1火鍋，雷霆全隊才14個籃板。

下半場，馬刺依然維持著極高的進攻效率，鄧肯領軍逐步拉開比分，他製造韋斯特布魯克（Russell Westbrook）犯規，輕鬆兩罰全中，接著又是亞當斯（Steven Adams）犯規，再次罰進兩球，三節打完22分12籃板。

末節領先愈來愈多，主帥波波維奇（Gregg Popovich）換下主力，鄧肯沒上場。

鄧肯沒有讓2年前的悲劇再次發生，同時主場連勝對手25+以上，鄧肯和他的馬刺也將手握極大的心理優勢。
