基因檢測搭標靶 緩解末期腸癌黃疸

一名46歲男性因罹患肝轉移大腸癌，引發黃疸、肝腫大症狀，原本被宣判只剩一個月壽命，高醫外科部部長王照元透過KRAS基因檢測，研判患者基因形態適合接受大腸癌標靶藥物，治療數周後肝功能指數明顯下滑，癌症腫瘤標記也從一萬多降至兩千多，該名病患後來存活一年左右。

王照元強調，轉移性大腸癌患者透過基因檢測訂做個人化治療，有效率可提升15％，他將發起全國性研究計畫，募集320名轉移性大腸直腸癌患者展開研究。
