英新任文化部長 曾訪台

英國文化部長米勒因溢領住房津貼，在引起連日砲轟後宣布請辭，首相卡麥隆已指定由原財政部次長賈維德（Sajid Javid）接任。

賈維德雖然進入英國政壇不久，但被視為親近財相奧斯本的人馬，他不但曾訪問過台灣，在財政部次長任內因負責倫敦發展人民幣離岸中心，除曾隨奧斯本訪問中國大陸外，也曾接待台灣相關官員，今年初他在接受本報獨家專訪時，還明確表達希望台、英在人民幣業務上能加強合作。
